Getting there:

FROM BALI:

. Fast boat (around 1.5 hours to cross the Lombok Strait):
There are many fast boats that start from Benoa or Padang Bai connecting Bali to the Gilis.

Here are some of them: Eka Jaia, Marina Srikandy, Ocean star, Superscoot, Kudah Itam, Pascha express.

. Perama Boat: around 4 hours to cross the Lombok Strait

. Slow Ferry: around 6 hours to cross the Lombok Strait

. Flights: around 30 minutes
It is possible to fly from Dempasar Airport in Bali to Bandara airport in Lombok.
From The airport it takes about 2 1/2 hours by car to arrive in Bangsal harbour. From there it takes about 20 minutes by boat to arrive in Gili Air.

FROM LOMBOK:

Gili Air is only 20 minutes by boat from public Bangsal harbour or 40 minutes by boat from the more quiet Teluk Nare harbour.
